Error No Torrent ID given.

Hi,

I'm trying to download some a4e InuYasha torrents. They worked before, and I had a few of them complete weeks ago. But now they're not working. I get an "unregistered torrent pass" error from the tracker (http://august.bakabt.com:2710/bbc908734032e5ee2736288b94472d9d/announce.php). I thought I'd try redownloading the torrent to try to fix this, so  I came back to a4e, found the series, and tried to download it. BakaBT gave me the error "No Torrent ID was given." (details page for the torrent "[a4e]Inu-Yasha_TV_53-78"). So I guess the torrent was removed from BakaBT (even though the series list on a4e's site still links to it). Can this be reuploaded, or is there another tracker somewhere? I tried googling the md5 hash to find the torrent/tracker elsewhere but got nothing.

We don't control bakabt or have any say in what they choose to do to our torrents. Our site only lists them. Our only notification of deletion of one of our torrents is via a message left with us on our bakabt accounts. We then have to manually remove it from our website. Sometimes we up it elsewhere sometimes we don't. However in this instance the torrent was never removed.

Hello people, I`m a big fan of your work (tough I'm a new member to your web). I'm posting here because lately I coudn't download any af your works, don't know why with certainity but cheking, there is a lot of your works in bakabt that are not available and coincedentialy the downloads I couldn't do are in the list and just to let you know if you already don't know it, the most of your works don't work in bakabt (I mean your completed series in your bittorrent list at least). I was dowloading madara, elf princess rane and ghost in the shell, but no response. I got the files a month and a half ago more or less but put them to use a few weeks back (I used them immediately when download them but I had problems with the pc before completing them and by the time I solved them I remembered to download your work the torrent files didn't work). The rare point about this is that the torrent reports seeds in my torrent client (some torrents not all of them) but never shows them connected (by the way I'm using utorrent (and by the way is one of the recommended in the white list in bakabt)). So my questions are, ¿What's up?, ¿Must I do something special to download now your works?, ¿Have you guys to do something to solve it?. Hope this won't be a serios matter, and just something temporal. Well that's all for now. Thanks for your great work, and I'll be checking your answer to my questions. Greets

The torrents work just fine. Please read back the message that utorrent displays in the "trackers" tab. Should be under the status column. Please note that .torrent files expire after a certain amount of time and you need to redownload them and continue your download.

Ok first of all, thank you por your answer. Well the response in the trakers tab for bakabt is: "http://october.bakabt.com:2710/71e50b8fcdc308cb7b9e22fdf7aa85ef/announce.php   Failure: unregistered torrent pass. this torrent pass is either not valid or it has expired". Now, if my .torrent files have expired(the ones I downloaded more than a moth ago), then, could you please tell me where do you guys (besides bakabt) put your .torrent files? please?, cuz I get that error "No Torrent ID was given." in the link you guys have to your individual files in bakabt (completed series at least(I like only the completed stuff (I can't wait for the next episode in a series, patience is not my style))) and is an error I get since two weeks back before complaining in my earlier reply, and as I said most of your works appearto have this very same problem in bakabt, and there is someone else before me having the same error (that makes me feel a little better.... just kidding). Yes I read that post reply and I know you have nothing to do with bakabt. But do you guys have back ups for your works in some other sites (trakers)? or could you please send them to my e-mail adress (I don't mean to abuse you, just finding ways to enjoy my favorite anime series with the quality you guys put in them, that's all). You just have to redownload the .torrent file from bakabt, nothing else. Its part of their anonymous download feature that you have to redownload torrents after a few days as the temporary key becomes invalid.

Like shannon said all that is required of you is to re-download the .torrent file and let utorrent rehash check your already started download. As you can see your torrent key was from the month of october and it is now december. Public keys expire every month. You could get rid of this problem forever by registering for bakabt but then you're required to maintain a good ratio. They have a wonderful wiki at bakabt, one that I am proud to say I suggested they make. Plz refer to it if you're still having problems.

Hello people.
Ok guys, thanks for your time. Well you see, the big deal to once again download your work appear to be redownloading the .torrent files. Now, as I said before, I just deal with your completed series topic in your Bittorrent section. There is a complete list in alphabetical order with links to the said .torrent files (hosted and tracked in and by bakabt). I wish to download a lot of your works I don't have yet (I've enjoyed more than one of the series and OVAs you guys have worked on past years), but for now I wished to download just three of them and when finished, watch them, and then download some other three and so on. The problem is that the links you guys have there (for example Ghost in the Shell SAC, Madara 1-2 and Elf Princess Rane (The ones I wished this time)), led me to an error page in the bakabt site telling me "Error - No Torrent ID was given.", so I can't get the .torrent file. Needless to say (but I'm gonna do it anyway), I have tried to redownload the .torrent files from the very beginning before posting here the issue (I didn't know about the temporary keys but I tried anyway), but up to now I'm unable to do it (the reason I've already told you thrice (the links to the files don't work)... now that's make four times...  ). Now you datadryne-bro tell me to register an account in bakabt, that's a good idea, but I doubt I could maintain a good ratio for downloading or seeding (life is so complex.... you know). But that aside, the problem is that the files don't appear to be available (well, Aika is available, but I already saw Aika and I guess R-16 goes the same way but with a younger Aika... so for now I don't want fanservice alone), and I don't think registering an account will make them available. So if you guys could check this section of yours I'm talking about please (pretty pleeeese), and tell me a way to download the files, don't matter if these are the regular ones that need to be replaced as time goes by, I'll be grateful and think of you as kind and nice people (neee datadyne-san? Shannon-nii-sama?). Well guys I've wrote so much (do I have plenty of time or do I have to find me a girlfriend?... neither of them I have a lot of things to do and 2-D girls are Ok by now). Ok, that's a completely different problem. It's something to do with how baka has adjusted the identifier for the torrents and thus the URL we have and baka now has for the torrents are different.

You still have to redownload your .torrents as the passkey you showed us is expired. I see now we have a lot of shows showing up with invalid id. We'll have to fix those at some point. This can be resolved simply by using the bakabt search function.

Now I tought in using the search function in bakabt (I'm a smart guy... hehehehe), but guess what.... the search function is only available fully for registered accounts (that's unfair man). Ok, you can search in the site, but page by page, and when there are hundreds of pages, well It's no fun at all. I searched a4e in the search tool but when I wished to view the results again these guys requested me to login or register (can you believe the nerve they have???!!!...... Just kidding  ).
